Safety first, prevent problems before they occur----
Weicheng Testing’s 2019 Fire Drill
To effectively carry out fire safety work within the organization, ensure the safety of employees’ lives and property, enable staff to master the procedures for handling incipient fires in their respective positions, cultivate their ability to respond effectively to such emergencies, and familiarize them with the alarm-activation steps to be followed if a fire spreads, the company held its 2019 annual fire drill on September 6 at the Geely Project Department. The drill was organized and led by Mr. Liang Maizhuang, the company’s safety officer, and was observed on-site by more than 50 employees, all of whom were present except those on business trips.
Liang Maizhuang, the company’s safety officer, provided a briefing on emergency response procedures for fire scenes, the operating principles of fire extinguishers, and relevant precautions. He then conducted a hands-on demonstration of how to use fire extinguishers and organized fire-extinguishing drills involving representatives from various departments as well as employees who were not yet proficient in their use.
After the fire drill, explain the precautions for reporting a fire and conduct a simulated fire alarm call, practicing how to quickly and accurately convey the essential information required for fire reporting (including the company name, the caller’s name, the fire address, the nature and type of the fire, and instructions on how to assist emergency responders).
Finally, the General Manager provided a review of this fire drill, expressing the hope that it would foster strong safety awareness among employees, enhance the project team’s ability to respond effectively to sudden fires, and officially declared the drill a complete success.

On October 11, Luoyang Weicheng Engineering Testing Co., Ltd. held a large-scale training and competition—specifically, a γ-ray radiographic inspection radiation emergency response drill—under the theme “Everyone Talks About Safety, Everyone Knows How to Respond to Emergencies.” The event invited leaders from the provincial, municipal, and district levels to attend and observe. Prior to the start of the emergency response drill, Cui Songbiao, General Manager of Luoyang Weicheng Engineering Testing Co., Ltd., and Gong Aifeng, Deputy General Manager, extended a warm welcome to the visiting provincial, municipal, and district leaders and pledged that Weicheng Testing would consistently focus on enhancing its professional technical expertise and emergency response capabilities as key drivers for corporate safety management.
