May Day Management Team Outdoor Team-Building Activity—A Trip to Songshan Mountain

To enhance cohesion and unity among the company’s management team, promote relaxation and physical fitness, and foster teamwork, our company organized a team-building excursion to Mount Song on May 1–2, 2019. The event provided an opportunity for managers to unwind after work and enjoy the pleasures of nature.
At 8:00 a.m. on May 1, we drove into the Sanhuangzhai parking lot and stepped out to find ourselves surrounded by towering mountains, their lush green peaks stretching endlessly in every direction. Thus began our first day of exploring Mount Song, starting from Haohan Slope. Along the way, we paused frequently to take in the breathtaking scenery, passing through Nantianmen Gate, the Sanhuangzhai Zen Monastery, the Sanhuang Hall, Xuantian Cave, Yixiantian Gorge, Shimen Rock, the Cliff-Hanging Suspension Bridge, Liantian Canyon, and the Suspended Plank Walk. Walking along the plank walkway, with sheer cliffs looming behind us and a dizzying abyss yawning below, we gazed out over the sprawling expanse of Mount Song, truly witnessing and feeling the awe-inspiring artistry of nature. Finally, we arrived at the Shaolin Temple, where we toured this world-famous ancient monastery.
At 8:30 a.m. on May 2, we drove to the parking lot of Songyang Academy and then took the well-marked trail on the right side of the academy to begin our ascent. The path was clear all the way, leading us past Laojun Cave, Laomu Cave, Stone Boat, Junji Palace, and Zhongyue Xinggong, before finally reaching Junji Peak—the highest point on Taishi Mountain—after a six-hour hike, where we stopped for a group photo. Although the first day’s climb had significantly depleted everyone’s energy and endurance, throughout the journey we supported and collaborated with one another, demonstrating strong team spirit. This outing not only allowed us to take in breathtaking scenery, savor delicious food, and relieve stress, but also provided an opportunity to relax body and mind, cultivate our aesthetic sensibilities, and deeply feel the warmth of our corporate family.

On March 4, our company meticulously planned and conducted an emergency response drill for special equipment—forklift accidents—and invited several nearby companies that use forklifts to observe the exercise. The purpose of this drill was to simulate real-world working conditions, specifically the sudden occurrence of an accident during the process of using a forklift to handle goods.

On October 11, Luoyang Weicheng Engineering Testing Co., Ltd. held a large-scale training and competition—specifically, a γ-ray radiographic inspection radiation emergency response drill—under the theme “Everyone Talks About Safety, Everyone Knows How to Respond to Emergencies.” The event invited leaders from the provincial, municipal, and district levels to attend and observe. Prior to the start of the emergency response drill, Cui Songbiao, General Manager of Luoyang Weicheng Engineering Testing Co., Ltd., and Gong Aifeng, Deputy General Manager, extended a warm welcome to the visiting provincial, municipal, and district leaders and pledged that Weicheng Testing would consistently focus on enhancing its professional technical expertise and emergency response capabilities as key drivers for corporate safety management.
