Great News! Our company’s employee achieved outstanding results at the 2023 National Mechanical Industry Vocational Skills Competition—the inaugural “Sankyo Cup” Nondestructive Testing Technician Vocational Skills Contest!

The 2023 National Mechanical Industry Vocational Skills Competition—“Sanfeng Cup”—the inaugural Nondestructive Testing Technician Vocational Skills Competition, co-hosted by the China Machinery Industry Federation and the All-China Federation of Trade Unions for Machinery, Metallurgy, and Building Materials, was successfully held in Hangzhou from August 18 to 20. For this competition, our company dispatched one team leader and five contestants.
The skill assessment events and scoring criteria in this competition closely reflect the realities of nondestructive testing positions, effectively evaluating contestants’ precise control over equipment operation details, as well as their understanding and application of technical standards and procedures. The exam questions were rigorously aligned with national vocational skill standards and distributed across the four key areas of ultrasonic testing, magnetic particle testing, liquid penetrant testing, and radiographic testing according to prescribed proportions, thereby truly assessing the depth and breadth of contestants’ mastery of relevant knowledge. The competition fully demonstrates the knowledge-based, multidisciplinary, and highly skilled nature of the industrial workforce in the new era.
A total of 120 contestants from 40 enterprise groups and educational institutions across the country advanced to the finals. After five days of intense competition, the event awarded 12 first-place individual honors, 18 second-place honors, and 24 third-place honors. Additionally, nine enterprise groups and four educational institutions were presented with the “Team Excellence Award.” Our company was honored with the “Team Excellence Award,” while our competitors Liu Linquan and Guo Yongjun received the “Third-Place Individual Award,” and Li Shaobo, Dang Qiang, and Yu Hang were recognized with the “Outstanding Individual Award.”
The members of the competing team exemplified the spirit of “overcoming tough challenges, striving for continuous improvement, and pursuing excellence,” demonstrating their technical expertise through their performance in this competition, earning honor for the company, and showcasing the company’s strength and competitiveness to the industry!

The purpose of this drill was to simulate real-world working conditions, specifically the sudden occurrence of an accident during the process of using a forklift to handle goods.

On October 11, Luoyang Weicheng Engineering Testing Co., Ltd. held a large-scale training and competition—specifically, a γ-ray radiographic inspection radiation emergency response drill—under the theme “Everyone Talks About Safety, Everyone Knows How to Respond to Emergencies.” The event invited leaders from the provincial, municipal, and district levels to attend and observe. Prior to the start of the emergency response drill, Cui Songbiao, General Manager of Luoyang Weicheng Engineering Testing Co., Ltd., and Gong Aifeng, Deputy General Manager, extended a warm welcome to the visiting provincial, municipal, and district leaders and pledged that Weicheng Testing would consistently focus on enhancing its professional technical expertise and emergency response capabilities as key drivers for corporate safety management.
