The First Congress of the Science and Technology Association of Weicheng Was Held Successfully

On the afternoon of July 28, the inaugural general meeting and plaque-awarding ceremony of the First Science and Technology Association of Luoyang Weicheng Engineering Testing Co., Ltd. were successfully held. Zhang Liansheng, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Science and Technology Association of Mengjin District, Yang Yaoqiang, Vice Chairman, and representatives from Heyang Subdistrict responsible for science and technology association work all attended the meeting.
At the meeting, Yang Yaoqiang, Vice Chairman of the District Science and Technology Association, read out the official approval document endorsing the establishment of the “Science and Technology Association of Luoyang Weicheng Engineering Testing Co., Ltd.”
Subsequently, the meeting elected the inaugural roster of members of the Enterprise Science and Technology Association, with Cui Songbiao elected as Chairman, Li Shaobo and Cui Songtao elected as Vice Chairmen, Quan Jiaoyang elected as Secretary-General, and Dong Bingyang elected as a member of the Association.
Zhang Liansheng, Party Secretary and Chairman of the District Science and Technology Association, extended warm congratulations to the members of the inaugural leadership team of the Weicheng Science and Technology Association who were elected, and presented the plaque designating Weicheng Enterprise Science and Technology Association. He also put forward the following requirements for the future work of the enterprise science and technology association:
1. Enterprise science and technology associations shall conduct public science communication, fully leveraging their strengths in technology transfer and science outreach to seamlessly integrate corporate activities with science communication initiatives, thereby making a positive contribution to enhancing the scientific literacy of the entire population.
2. Actively establish platforms for scientific and technological innovation, focusing on the needs of our city’s development as a sub-center, highlighting the strengths of Luoyang Weicheng Engineering Testing Co., Ltd. in intelligent manufacturing, organizing enterprise-based science and technology professionals to promote advanced technologies, and building service platforms to support enterprises’ independent innovation.
3. Earnestly strengthen internal development, enhance service capabilities, identify and recommend outstanding young scientific and technological talents, foster a favorable environment for the growth, advancement, and innovation and entrepreneurship of science and technology professionals, and ensure that the Science and Technology Association of Luoyang Weicheng Engineering Testing Co., Ltd. truly becomes a home for science and technology workers.
Finally, Chairman Cui Songbiao stated that, following the establishment of the enterprise’s Science and Technology Association, the organization will focus on creating an even better environment for research and development as well as for work in general. It will also intensify efforts to attract scientific and technological talent, with particular emphasis on recruiting high-caliber professionals, thereby elevating the company’s science and technology initiatives, R&D activities, and production operations to a new level and enhancing its core competitiveness. At the same time, the Association will strengthen its organizational development, further expand its membership, and make its activities more in-depth, diverse, and vibrant, ensuring that every scientific and technical professional benefits from the Association’s wide range of programs—gaining technical improvements, making career progress, and enjoying brighter prospects for personal development.

On October 11, Luoyang Weicheng Engineering Testing Co., Ltd. held a large-scale training and competition—specifically, a γ-ray radiographic inspection radiation emergency response drill—under the theme “Everyone Talks About Safety, Everyone Knows How to Respond to Emergencies.” The event invited leaders from the provincial, municipal, and district levels to attend and observe. Prior to the start of the emergency response drill, Cui Songbiao, General Manager of Luoyang Weicheng Engineering Testing Co., Ltd., and Gong Aifeng, Deputy General Manager, extended a warm welcome to the visiting provincial, municipal, and district leaders and pledged that Weicheng Testing would consistently focus on enhancing its professional technical expertise and emergency response capabilities as key drivers for corporate safety management.
